Desert Oasis Pool & Patio

This outdoor living expansion turned an underused backyard into a true desert oasis. A negative-edge pool, covered ramada with an outdoor kitchen, and a sun shelf create distinct zones for lounging, dining, and entertaining.

Drought-tolerant, native landscaping softens the hardscape and keeps water use low, while low-voltage landscape lighting extends the space into the evening. The ramada's structure was engineered for monsoon winds and sized for shade through the afternoon sun arc.

The result is a year-round outdoor living room that takes full advantage of Arizona's climate — a seamless extension of the home's interior living space.
